EXCITING NEWS!
After three years of planning, Eastern Shore Veterinary Hospital is excited to announce the redevelopment of the clinic building. We are thrilled to team up with Build It Tas to make this dream possible.
Fifty years ago, following the collapse of the Derwent Bridge, the clinic grew from a small branch practice into the veterinary hospital as it stands today. Now, half a century later, the building is set for a much-needed extension and refurbishment.
This upgrade will help meet the growing demand for veterinary services on the Eastern Shore and provide our dedicated staff with a more modern, spacious, and functional environment to work in. Most importantly, it will ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality veterinary care for our valued clients and their beloved pets.
Starting in Mid February, the extension and renovation are expected to take 10 months, with the work divided into two stages to minimise disruption to the clinic's daily operations.
We thank you for your patience during this construction and refurbishment phase!
Key features include: a 98 square metre extension, complete refurbishment of the existing building, additional consultation room (from 2 to 3), expanded corridor access into consultation rooms, extended and refurbished waiting room, glass entrance door to allow clients to see in before entering, upgraded Xray facilities, increased sized treatment area, increased size of diagnostic lab/office, dedicated staffroom, DDA toilet, upgraded, dedicated cat room, upgraded ICU capacity, upgraded indoor dog kennels and cages, upgraded carpark and improved lighting, climate control.
